AI Strategist in L&D, Learning Designer
Performance Strategy & Business Impact

Many learning teams are being pressured to use AI at every turn and roll out AI training with little ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes or business impact. And we know that activity metrics don't tell you if people can actually use AI effectively on the job. That discrepancy is costing L&D teams their credibility, their budgets, and causing a lot of angst and frustration across our industry.
This is now your safe space to take the full journey from AI-anxious to AI-literate, with proof you and your stakeholders can see.
In addition to a capstone project you can share with leadership or on your portfolio, you will receive frameworks and mental models you can implement as a full-time employee or a freelancer. We will explore what foundational AI literacy means for your own competencies so you can design and recognize quality AI training yourself. You'll also get practice in advocating for the decisions you make to others about tool usage, safety, and performance measurement.
Walk away with the peace of mind that you have what it takes to create high-quality AI training.
Our 6-week cohort has an immersive "pick-your-own" scenario designed to keep you grounded in 5 benchmark competencies.
Leverage the Department of Labor's AI Literacy Framework to design training tailored to specific roles, skills, and literacy levels

Paige focuses on AI reskilling and upskilling through evidence-based learning.

Dr. Mike helps organizations improve performance and prove results.
Learning & Development professionals, including instructional designers and L&D managers who want to upskill in AI or begin training on AI.
Training developers and program leads who are done with tool-based tutorials and ready to design AI literacy that proves business impact.
Human resource managers who want to build human-centered upskilling roadmaps and ensure the proper competencies are built into AI training.
The scenarios we use will make a lot more sense to those with this type of professional background or if you want to facilitate AI Literacy.
You need a working model of either ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Free or paid plan will work.

Live sessions
2-3 hrs / week
We will simulate what we believe is the best way to win over leadership when it comes to training employees on the job, which is to embed it directly into their workday. We have found that 2 hours a week, broken up into 1-hour increments, lends itself to more effective AI adoption across an organization. Sometimes we go over to talk shop only.

Projects
1-2 hrs / week
All the work you do week week will build to the capstone project. Your preparation should be minimal as long as you are keeping up each week and coming prepared. The key work will come between Module 5 & 6 where you will put together your strategic plan for presenting in a simulated, high-stakes leadership discussion in our final week.
Async content
2-3 hrs / week
All of the homework builds toward the next session and will unlock once each module is completed. As stated under Projects, this work builds toward your capstone project.
This cohort is of HUGE value from a work perspective. I would take this program again without even thinking twice. My department was spending 14 days and 40+ hours building a single course manually. Using only tools my university already approved, I rebuilt the process from scratch. The result: 64% reduction in time, 80% reduction in labor, 70% faster development, 75% fewer revision cycles, and $0 in new tools purchased. I'm now building a proposal to scale the process across my team.

Are you kidding me? In less than a minute I had a whole step-by-step solution. I'm not a PowerBI expert, I just manage one. Every time a formula broke, I spent 5+ hours debugging something I couldn't fully understand. I spent less than 2 hours building an AI assistant using the framework taught in the course. The first time I used it, a problem that used to take 5 hours was solved in under 60 seconds. I called it an out-of-body experience.

My pain point was healed. I build custom scenario-based learning for clients. It used to take 10 to 80 hours per project. I ran my prompt across three AI tools, compared the outputs against my own quality standards, and went from framework to finished output in 3.5 hours. Generation time per tool: under 7 minutes. I left with a tool selection matrix, a universal stress test prompt, and a replicable workflow I can use across every future client.

I learned so much in Part 1! I mean, it has changed the way I approach these tools already. I came into it thinking I knew what I was doing, and now looking back at where I was just 6 weeks ago, I was a child. I can't wait for Part 2!
