Performance Strategy & Business Impact

A scenario-based learning journey to build AI Literacy and evaluation framework.

As organizations expand their AI investments, the ability to demonstrate measurable business impact in AI upskilling and reskilling has become just as important as delivering high-quality learning.

Most L&D teams are rolling out AI training with no way to prove it works. Completion rates don't tell you if people can actually use AI on the job. Leadership wants ROI, not activity metrics, and that discrepancy is costing L&D teams their credibility and their budgets.

This cohort gives you the tools to close that gap: define what AI literacy actually means for your own competencies and for those you design training for. You'll use innovative techniques with AI to measure whether training transfers to the job. Then, connect those results to outcomes leadership cares about.

Unlike one-off workshops, this 6-week cohort is structured around a clear learning-transfer arc. It will move you from orientation and awareness through judgment, application, and finally creation. Frameworks as well as the mental models necessary for AI literacy are embedded.

This is the full journey from AI-anxious to AI-literate, with proof your stakeholders can see.

What you’ll learn

By the end of this 6-week cohort, you will gain the know-how on designing, developing, and identifying training that:

  • How to identify and create AI training courses with the correct competencies and skills based on the DOL AI framework

  • Map framework competencies to specific roles so training targets the right skills at the right level

  • Conduct an AI literacy gap analysis that pinpoints where your workforce actually stands today

  • Prompt AI to co-design assessments, rubrics, and learning activities aligned to your competency goals

  • Build AI-assisted evaluation workflows that save hours of manual measurement design

  • Use AI to stress-test your training design before it reaches learners

  • Translate learning data into business language your executive stakeholders already use

  • Create a one-page ROI brief that justifies continued investment in AI upskilling

  • Create a repeatable system you can deploy across teams without redesigning from scratch

  • Design modular training that adapts from AI-anxious beginners to confident practitioners

  • Build assessment rubrics that track growth across the full orientation-to-creation arc

Schedule

Live sessions

2-3 hrs / week

1 hour live session on Monday | 1 hour live session on Thursday | Sometimes we hang out afterwards

Projects

2-3 hrs / week

All the work you do will build to the capstone project. The key work will be collating your strategic plan to present to leadership, giving yourself time to think and process through, and practicing for the live simulation of your presentation with peers.

Async content

1-2 hrs / week

The majority of this course will be the live sessions. We are trying to simulate what we believe is the best way to win over leadership when it comes to training employees on the job. 2 hours a week. The week-by-week asynchronous learning should be minimal as long as you are keeping up and come prepared.

Testimonials

  • This cohort is of HUGE value from a work perspective. I would take this program again without even thinking twice. My department was spending 14 days and 40+ hours building a single course manually. Using only tools my university already approved, I rebuilt the process from scratch. The result: 64% reduction in time, 80% reduction in labor, 70% faster development, 75% fewer revision cycles, and $0 in new tools purchased. I'm now building a proposal to scale the process across my team.

  • Are you kidding me? In less than a minute I had a whole step-by-step solution. I'm not a PowerBI expert, I just manage one. Every time a formula broke, I spent 5+ hours debugging something I couldn't fully understand. I spent less than 2 hours building an AI assistant using the framework taught in the course. The first time I used it, a problem that used to take 5 hours was solved in under 60 seconds. I called it an out-of-body experience.

  • My pain point was healed. I build custom scenario-based learning for clients. It used to take 10 to 80 hours per project. I ran my prompt across three AI tools, compared the outputs against my own quality standards, and went from framework to finished output in 3.5 hours. Generation time per tool: under 7 minutes. I left with a tool selection matrix, a universal stress test prompt, and a replicable workflow I can use across every future client.

  • I learned so much in Part 1! I mean, it has changed the way I approach these tools already. I came into it thinking I knew what I was doing, and now looking back at where I was just 6 weeks ago, I was a child. I can't wait for Part 2!
