In one live day you learn to build an MCP server, the bridge that lets AI safely use real tools, data, and APIs through the Model Context Protocol. We start from a tool you actually want your AI to control, then build a working server together, connect it to a real client like Claude, and test it live. You learn how MCP exposes actions through clean, named tools, where permissions and boundaries belong, and how AI agents reach the real world instead of just talking. You leave with an MCP server of your own that does something useful, a reusable template to build more, and a certificate of completion as a Certified MCP Developer.
This is hands-on building, so some comfort with code helps, though you do not need to be an expert and we guide each step live. You bring a laptop you can install on and a tool or data source you would like your AI to control, and we help you pick if you are unsure. By the end you can map a real task to the actions a server should expose, run and debug a server until you trust it, and connect it to Claude Code or another client for real work. The certificate is backed by a server you built and ran, which is the real proof of the skill.
