Why this topic matters

In order to grow in our careers we need to influence the work of larger groups of peers who we have no authority over on more challenging projects at higher velocity. Some people seem to have a talent for leading peers. While others struggle with peer conflict and alignment. This slows down their work, causes loss of trust and eventually costs them scope & roles. This is a very learnable skill.
