What you'll learn

There is value in numbers

This community is designed to break down silos, inspire, and share what we are learning.

A safe place to explore and learn

We will start off this session with a review of the Nano Banana session I led in July and explore topics from there.

Shop talk about our industry

Bring your questions, insights, and things on your mind about AI / L&D for us to discuss. No judgment zone.

3rd Tuesday of every month

We are working on a second session on a different day/time monthly. Stay tuned!

Why this topic matters

We recently conducted a survey with a group of learning scientists around AI and evaluations. From that rich feedback one thing became clear: L&D professionals want a community of practice. They believe the professional ecosystem has not caught up with the hype of what AI can do. Many are want a place to grow in their skills, validate tools, and create practical standards. This is that place.

Paige Bradbury

Learning & Development Architect

I am the founder and principal learning architect at The Bradbury Group. Two years ago I saw how huge AI was going to be out the L&D industry and decided to go deep to figure out responsible AI adoption for our field.

Since then I've built out courses using AI for Fortune 500 companies and ran numerous cohorts focused on AI Literacy & Fluency for L&D professionals. I've seen firsthand that unlocking leaders and getting their buy-in is a key component to AI adoption, too. This is why I also work closely with executives from enterprise organizations to nonprofits on how to use AI as a thought partner. I like to lead with a problem-first design and a focus on micro-wins that build confidence. Our course designs are careful to focus on the skills that can be integrated into real work and tracking that performance, too. This approach has led us to see adoption rates 3x higher than feature-led training.

A community of practice for instructional designers is one of the top requests I receive. I am happy to offer it now that The Bradbury Group has found its home on Maven. Come along for the journey!
