Mark Schaefer has been a professional keynote speaker for 20 years. His speeches have inspired audiences in 40 countries. He has been a regular speaker at SXSW, Social Media Marketing World, The American Bar Association, and corporate events including Dell, Pfizer, Microsoft, and the U.S. Naval Academy. Mark is a faculty member of Rutgers University and is the bestselling author of 10 books including "KNOWN," "Marketing Rebellion," and "Belonging to the Brand."
Class one is a two-hour interactive module describing the basics of creating your first speech. This includes developing a relevant idea that connects to an audience, establishing ideas that are "evergreen," integrating storytelling techniques, and visual design.
The second two-hour session provides insider techniques on rehearsal, stage presence, research, preparation, contract basics, and ideas to jumpstart a speaking career.

This class spans 2.5 hours on Tuesday, October 24 and 2.5 hours on Thursday, October 26. Each class will be two hours of interactive presentations via Zoom followed by a half hour of open Q&A. There is no pre-work and one hour of optional homework associated with this class.
