Emily Patterson

Emily Patterson

Emily is an experienced product leader, having led product strategy and teams at Finite State, Fortress InfoSec, and Kenna Security (now Cisco). Emily founded the In the Lab product management learning curriculum in 2020 and has successfully helped hundreds of career changers learn and practice product management.


As a tech grad from Boston University, she was a business analyst before moving into product management roles. She's a B2B SaaS product expert, currently focused on cybersecurity, with previous roles in healthcare, health insurance, & immigration. She holds a MBA from UNC Chapel Hill. She's a mom of 2 and lives in Chicago.
