IDEX Fellowship - Talent of Tomorrow
Reimagining Capitalism
Overview: Envision a world wherein IDEX can be a launchpad for authentic next-gen leaders to build conscious companies, funds, initiatives, podcasts, substacks, research groups, consulting firms, etc. This is a small start, but we can feel the fire.
There are five elements to it, which are as follows.»
Element 1: Self-Learn: You will learn independently from a curated list. The whole program is divided into three parts:
a) Conscious Capitalism Capitalism: What are the core principles of building an impactful business? We have included several resources, from books to reading materials to podcasts.
b) Impact Investing: Core impact investing principles, regenerative finance, and innovative finance principles. We have focused more on the investing side than on impact measurement.
c) Consciousness, Stoicism, Zen Philosophy, and Spiritual Nourishment: IDEX cannot and should not be revived without covering these. This is essential to fully prepare TOT to live a conscious, fulfilling, and content life. Impact starts with them.
AMAs - Ask Me Anything: There will be three 60-90-minute AMAs with Sagar Tandon <https://www.linkedin.com/in/consciousfuturist/>, fellowship designer, curator, fellowship coordinator, and IDEX alumni.
Element 2: Build: Without building a portfolio, learning is incomplete. We will give you three assignments aligned to the three topics mentioned above that will help you build your own portfolio in a way that will help you design an initiative, build an impact investing strategy, and write your life manifesto.
Element 3: Get Certified: IDEX will issue a certificate after completing the three assignments.
Element 4: Showcase your Portfolio: After you build your portfolio and get certified, we will be happy to showcase one of your portfolios to the whole of the IDEX community of 15,000 plus & beyond so that you get the social recognition you deserve.
Element 5: Get Recommended: Many of you are applying for jobs, looking for a job switch, pivoting your career to impact investing, conscious capitalism, or going for an MBA. No matter your next step, after you are certified and showcase your portfolio to other IDEXers and the community, We will gladly give you a recommendation letter so you can grow and succeed.

Sagar has been an impact investor with various Asian-based VCs across the areas of plant-based and animal-free materials, next-gen and gender-diverse first-time fund managers, ed-tech and poverty alleviation, and inclusive fintech. He has experience in setting up impact funds. He has been involved in setting up two impact funds before joining Beyond Impact, edLABS within Gray Matters Capital, a family office foundation with $200 million AUM across emerging markets and Australian Govt. DFAT-backed impact fund in Indonesia.
Currently, he is a Partner at Beyond Impact, investing in the future of food and materials. He is an advisor & working group member at 2X Global Forum and 2XIgnite, to help unlock gender-smart capital for gender & diverse emerging fund managers and founders. He is also an Advisor to 3 Venture Studios - Lila Ventures - Capital Mobilization for Greener Future; Atlan - Nature Tech; and Scoby - Blue Ocean Acceleration Studio.
