I highly recommend this workshop to any designer who wants to uplevel their ability to use Claude Code in their design workflow. Before the session, I had almost no understanding of Claude Code. In just two hours, I went from zero to one—not in mastering it, but in understanding how to interact with it, connect it to Figma, and grasp the incredible potential of using prompts to turn designs into interactive web experiences. What I found most valuable wasn't just learning the mechanics—it was developing a new mental model. The workshop helped me zoom out and see the bigger picture of how these tools fit together. Instead of feeling like I was standing among the trees trying to figure out what was around me, I left with a systems-level view of the wider landscape and where Claude Code fits into a modern design workflow. Ayon and Xinran are exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and supportive instructors. Because they're designers themselves, they understand our workflows and can show practical, relevant ways to integrate AI into the design process. They were generous with their time, answered every question thoughtfully, and made what initially felt intimidating become approachable and exciting. I left the session feeling empowered, inspired, and genuinely curious to explore what I could build next. If you're a designer looking to understand where AI-powered development is headed and how to bring your Figma designs to life with Claude Code, this workshop is an excellent place to start.

I'm just starting with Claude Code, so I needed something that explains the basics clearly, and this content did that. It was really worth it. It covers the core workflow well and makes many topics much easier to understand. One thing I realized during the workshop: understanding the concept is one thing, but I need to practice much more, and more regularly, to really get comfortable with it. Thanks for a solid 2 hours.

Unfortunately this workshop really missed the mark and didn't feel worth the money. It felt pretty improvised and wasn't geared toward designers at all, starting with a frustrating setup that required us to use the Mac terminal. The content was way too technical and totally ignored actual design needs. There was no mention of how to connect a design system, build multiple pages, or create complex pieces like a bot prototype. The instructor was at least very patient and took the time to answer everyone’s questions. Still, the final result was disappointing; we spent 40 minutes building a basic, single-page prototype with a few pop-ups, which I could have made in Figma in a fraction of the time. In the end, it was too much technical headache for a very basic output, and it just didn't deliver the practical design tips it promised.

This course is a great overview of the AI tools that are shaping design right now. I liked that it works for both technical and non-technical people, so you can go as deep as you want. My favorite part was hearing from hands-on designers at all kinds of companies - it really showed there's no single "right" way to use these tools, just a lot of good ones.
