Learn how designers turn ideas into designs using Claude Code

Designers are increasingly expected to prototype faster, communicate more directly with engineering, and explore product ideas with greater fidelity. However, most AI coding tools are still taught from an engineer-first perspective.

This hands-on workshop helps designers bridge that gap by learning practical, hands-on workflows for using Claude Code. You'll learn how to go from ideas to working interfaces, prototypes, and product experiences.

Rather than focusing on theory, the session teaches participants how to collaborate effectively with AI tools, structure projects for better outputs, and build confidence working directly in modern AI-native product workflows.

You’ll get hands-on practice and support throughout this 2-hour workshop.

    Quickstart

    Learn the foundations of working in Claude Code, including terminal basics, models, modes, and how to effectively steer AI workflows through prompting and approvals.

    Going from 0 to 1

    Turn an idea into a working product step by step. You’ll learn the anatomy of an effective prompt and follow along building an initial milestone prepared ahead of time.

  • 6:00PM EDT

    Additional Tricks & Workflow Tips

    Learn practical workflows for resuming conversations, reverting changes, clearing context, and using Claude for quick questions and lightweight tasks.

  • 6:30PM EDT

    Going from 1 to 100

    Refine, expand, and scale your project using more advanced prompting techniques, reusable workflows, and a second prepared milestone demonstration. Learn how to use strong .md files and Claude skills.

  • 6:50PM EDT

    Q&A

    Time permitting, we’ll cover Claude cloud agents, the Claude Chrome extension, and Playwright setup, with extra time for questions and debugging help.
