Maven is releasing the cohort launch campaign and an upgraded student onboarding experience.

In the past few months, Maven has launched tools like surveys and lead magnets to help you grow your waitlist. Many top instructors are now using these tools to build their waitlist before announcing a new cohort.
Today, we’re releasing the cohort launch campaign, which makes it easier for you to email and convert your waitlist.
The campaign is pre-filled with smart default copy and dynamic fields. It’s already automated for you, so there’s no need to set up complex funnels. And it’s fully customizable so you can edit the timing or copy to fit your needs.
How it works:
  1. Visit your Emails tab. You’ll find the new launch campaign with pre-filled copy and advice written by Maven’s marketing team. The copy is optimized for conversion based on what we’ve observed across our top courses.
  2. Customize your campaign. You can edit the copy, timing, and add/remove emails. We built new dynamic variables like {{SyllabusSection}} and {{TestimonialSection}} and that automatically pull information from your landing page.
  3. Connect an open cohort. When you open a new cohort, your waitlist will receive emails based on the schedule you set. For future cohorts, you can leverage the same templates and make tweaks. This way, you never have to start from scratch, and your emails stay fresh.
