AI for Product Managers: Build Your PM Operating System

Will Lowrey

20 years in product. 200+ PMs coached.

Stop prompting. Start building your PM operating system.

Every PM has tried AI by now. Most stopped at chatbots.

You've pasted a PRD into ChatGPT. You've asked Claude to clean up an email. But none of it stuck. You don't have a system. You don't have workflows connected to your real tools. You're still doing the slow version of your job.

The gap isn't knowledge. It's infrastructure. This bootcamp builds it in 4 weeks.

Week 1: Run a competitive analysis in 20 minutes that used to take half a day. Build a reusable skill so the next one takes 3.

Week 2: Write a PRD, build a clickable prototype, and run evals that prove it works.

Week 3: Wire Claude into your actual stack - Slack, Linear, GitHub, Google Docs. Run your skills on live data.

Week 4: Chain it all into a PM operating system that runs on a schedule.

We start from zero. Pre-work covers the terminal, prompting, and your first skill before the first session.

You bring your real work. Every exercise runs on your actual PRDs, backlog, and tools. 25 PMs max.

You build things you keep. Custom skills, a CLAUDE.md that teaches Claude your product context, and workflows connected to your real stack.

You don't leave with notes. You leave with a working system.

What you’ll learn

Build a working AI system connected to your real PM tools - research, prototypes, evals, and automation in 4 weeks.

  • Run a full competitive analysis - profiles, feature matrix, whitespace - in a single session with Plan Mode.

  • Synthesize hundreds of feedback data poitns into ranked themes and actioanble insights your team can use.

  • Build reusable research skills with skill-creator so the next analysis takes 3 minutes, not 20.

  • Turn your Week 1 research into a PRD by building a skill that bakes in your analysis, context, and eval criteria.

  • Build a clickable prototype from that PRD with user journey In's and Outs and a design brief that makes it delightful. No engineer needed.

  • Run evals against your riskiest assumption. Know whether the AI is good enough to ship, iterate, or pivot.

  • Wire up Slack, Linear, Github, Google Docs, and more as live data sources inside Claude Code.

  • Run your skills on real data pulled directly from yoru stack - no more copy-pasting into a chatbot.

  • Build an opportunity assessment sourced from your actual feedback channels, tickets, and docs.

  • Chain skills together: research output feeds analysis, analysis feeds a brief. One workflow, not five tabs.

  • Set up recurring workflows - competitive monitor every Monday, feedback digest every Friday.

  • Leave with a 30-day adoption plan so this becomes how you work, not a course you took and forgot.

  • Pre-work covers terminal basics, prompts at 5 levels, and serves as your first reusable skill before the first session.

  • Flipped classroom: learn concept async, then use live sessions for protected build time and real-time coaching.

  • Slack community for async help between sessions. You're never stuck alone waiting for the next class.

  • Every exercise uses your real PRDs, backlog, and stakeholder updates. You'll use what you build on Monday.

  • 30 PMs max. You get coaching on yoru specific work and product, not generic advice from a stage.

  • Cohort 2 benefits from everything Cohort 1 tested and refined. The curriculum is sharper.

Who this course is for

  • The AI-Curious PM - tried ChatGPT or Claude casually but haven't built it into their daily workflow yet. You want a system, not more tips.

  • Documentation-Drowning PM - Senior PMs drowning in PRDs, roadmaps, stakeholder updates. You need to reclaim hours for strategic thinking.

  • The Team Leader - leaders who want to model AI-augmented work for their team. Master it yourself first, then bring the system to your org.

Prerequisites

  • This course is NOT FOR everyone

If you believe that AI is a fad and is going away, this isn't for you. We are leaning in to what the future can be.

  • This IS for Product and adjacent roles like TPM, Design, Engineering

If you're in product, TPM, design, or engineering and want to bulid AI into your actual workflow, this is the right place.

  • Are You Ready To Try, Fail, Learn, and then Try Again?

You don't need to be perfect. You need to be willing to build, test, and iterate. That's the whole course.

Testimonials

  • I didn’t expect to move from prompts to actual systems this quickly. Within the first week, I built a working competitive monitoring setup that runs on a schedule, along with tools for PRD reviews and structured competitor analysis - all applied to my product in the iGaming risk space. What surprised me most was how it uncovered competitors and angles I hadn’t fully considered. It changed how I think about AI - less as a one-off tool, and more as something you can operationalize.

  • When I joined UKG, I spent weeks going through 300+ customer escalations to understand patterns. Last week I did the same analysis in 5 minutes with Claude Code. But Will taught me something equally important - that speed without judgment is dangerous. Claude Code is my sous chef. It does the work. But I still taste the food
