Build a Working AI Tool in One Afternoon

Everyone can open Claude Code. Almost no one ships something real with it.
You've used Claude Code. You made a few things work, but you've never taken one of your own ideas all the way to something real and online. That's where most PMs and operators stall right now, and it isn't about access to AI. It's that nobody walks you through the whole path with the clock running and help in the room.
In one afternoon, you do the whole thing. You come in with your idea already researched, lock the smallest version worth shipping, then build it: connect real data, store it, make it solve the problem. From there you version it in GitHub, run a security check, and ship it live to a real URL on Vercel and Supabase.
You won't watch me demo. Your hands are on the keyboard the whole time, with help the moment you get stuck. The steps that stop most people on their own, GitHub, security, deploy, are commands you run yourself and watch work.
You leave with a working tool that's actually online, and the moves to point this same path at your next idea any week, without me in the room.
What you’ll learn
Take an idea from research to a live, secured tool on a real URL, and learn the moves to do it again on your own any week.
Take your idea and figure out what it actually needs to do: the features that matter for v1 and the ones to cut.
Keep it local, or put it out on the web - the choice is yours, but we'll get you equipped to choose!
Use AI to research the problem fast: who it's for, what already exists, and the few things your version has to nail.
Decide the smallest first version you can put in front of real users, so you get feedback fast instead of polishing in the dark.
Cut everything that isn't core to that first version, so you finish and ship instead of stalling on nice-to-haves.
Wire up real data and make the tool do its one job. You direct it in plain English; Claude Code writes the code.
Build a dashboard, internal tool, analyzer, or tracker that runs and solves a problem you actually have.
Store and version the project in GitHub so your work is saved and you can roll back. Claude Code handles the git for you.
Get a saved checkpoint you can always return to when a change breaks something, no git knowledge required.
Run a Claude Code security review to catch exposed keys and obvious holes before you ship.
Have Codex run a deeper peer review if you've got it: a second model checking the first.
Deploy so the tool is actually online, not stuck on your laptop. Vercel runs the app, Supabase stores the data.
Walk out with a real URL you can send to someone the same day.

Land and lock your MVP
You arrive with your idea researched in pre-work. We confirm the smallest version worth shipping today and what to cut, so the rest of the session goes to building, not deciding.
Build the core: connect data, store data, solve the problem
The bulk of the session. You direct Claude Code in plain English to wire up real data, store it, and make the tool do its one job. I circulate and troubleshoot the whole time.
Break
Ten minutes. Stretch and reset before we take it from running-on-your-laptop to real.
Put it in GitHub and run a security check
Commands you run yourself: version the project in GitHub so it's saved, then run a Claude Code security review to catch exposed keys before you ship. Optional deeper peer review with Codex.
Ship it live on Vercel and Supabase
Deploy the app to Vercel and the data to Supabase so it's online with a real URL. We troubleshoot deploy together, the step most people never reach on their own.
Demo and what's next
Show the one thing your tool does, then leave knowing how to point this same path at your next idea on your own.

Prerequisites
User of Claude Code and a Claude Max plan ($100/mo or higher
Not an expert, but this is not a first-time intro to Claude Code. Four hours of steady building hits rate limits on lower tiers.
An Anthropic API key with a few dollars of credit
Your tool calls Claude while it runs, billed separately from Max. $5 is plenty. The pre-work walks you through the setup.
About an hour of pre-work, including light research on your idea
