Harness Engineering: Designing the Operating Layer for Reliable Agents

I keep coming back to Aish & Kiriti’s courses for a reason :) They have a rare ability to make technically complex topics structured and digestible without abstracting away the realities of scale - including what these systems actually look like in enterprise use cases. Harness Engineering goes underneath the agent layer and looks at the engineering around the model: context management and compaction, tool discovery and execution, code-based tool workflows, subagent orchestration, permissions, loop engineering and different levels of harness abstraction. I especially liked that we explored these concepts through real implementations such as Codex and Deep Agents, rather than only discussing them in theory. And, as always, it is grounded in their problem-first mindset: understand the machinery, but keep coming back to what you actually need to build and why. The course helped me think much more clearly about the spectrum between using existing harnesses, adapting components for specific agent use cases, and eventually owning more of the stack.

The course is well structured and provides you with a well thought out way to think about problems, whether they need an AI solution and if they do, what are the simple step by step sequences you can do to determine what AI solution is the right one for the problem at hand. The instructors (Kiriti and Aish) and the support staff are extremely responsive to questions (no question is a bad one), patient and ensure that everyone gets the maximum value from the course. It has given me a good foundation to think about AI solutions to problems and to also separate all the hype/noise from substance.

I had a really positive experience. Beyond the quality of the content, I truly appreciated the way the learning experience was managed. The sessions were clear, comfortable, and easy to follow, even when the topics became more complex. That balance is what made the course stand out for me.

Wow! With all the AI talk on social media this course helped narrow down what really matters.

Even though we have been building AI products, the knowledge is scattered and the mental modal and structure was what missing. This course exactly filled the gap. Also helped get a perspective of entire building process. The structure of the course helped in learning at my own pace. The hands-on assignments helped explore practically. Thank you Aishwarya and Kiriti for creating such an exceptional program.
