From Conflict to Connection: Feedback that Matters

Hosted by Andrea Mignolo

What you'll learn

Shift from "Being Right" to Learning Together

Reframe feedback as collaborative exploration where both perspectives matter, not a contest over who holds the truth.

Regulate Your Nervous System to Keep Feedback Productive

Use centering, breathwork, and SCARF to create safety so both people stay open rather than defensive during feedback.

Combine Clear Observations with Genuine Curiosity

Distinguish data from interpretation, then blend telling what you see with asking about their experience authentically.

Why this topic matters

Feedback is a necessary part of leadership, but it doesn't have to feel like conflict! With the right mindset, posture, and frameworks, feedback conversations can go from something most leaders avoid, to a conversation that strengthens trust and builds quality relationships.

Executive and Team Coach

Since 2021 I've worked with hundreds of leaders to develop aligned, meaningful, and sustainable ways of leading and working. I've walked this path myself for more than a decade in leadership positions—going from a first-time exec who tried to emulate the leadership styles around me (massive failure!) to a seasoned leader showing up with integrity, care, and joyful creativity.

I have an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management with a focus on leadership and organizational design, and I'm a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. I work with leaders to build the skills and presence needed to navigate difficult conversations, make tough decisions, and create healthy, high-performing teams.
