HR Leader, AI in HR Strategist

1. Every AI workshop is built for somebody else.
Go through the catalogue and the AI workshops are for product managers, engineers, designers, founders. The workshops built for HR do not touch AI. So People leaders spend the session translating someone else's examples into their own work, live, while trying to keep up. Here the examples are already yours: the band question, the performance case, the "what training do we have for this" email.
2. Governance is not the last slide.
People raised data sensitivity before they would try anything, not after. Teaching the build and saving the limits for a closing slide has it backwards, because the limits are what make people willing to start. So a full hour here goes on writing what your skill must never touch, and you leave with that written down.
3. You leave with working things, not notes.
In the last cohort, people who had never built anything shipped real tools inside five weeks. One cut a weekly review process from around six hours to under one. Four hours is not five weeks, so the promise here is smaller and specific: four skills that run, and a governance template you reuse for everything you build after.
You arrive as the only place your judgment lives. You leave with four skills that carry it, and the boundary you drew around them.
Turn the question you answer most often into a working Claude skill, built live in the session
Test it against a real example from your own week before the first break
Start from pre-built forks for TA, HRBP, L&D and Total Rewards, then make each one yours
If you are the whole People team, take the loudest queue first and leave with the method for the rest
Write the not-allowed lines that keep restricted work out of anything you build
Apply one test that separates work needing a skill from work needing a good chat
Skills are plain markdown, so the file moves. You leave with a Copilot, Gemini and ChatGPT translation card
I open a skill I use every week and show you the file and what it produces. Then we build one together, same screen, same pace, so you are not troubleshooting alone while the room moves on.
You take it somewhere that matters to you. I stay with you while you work, then a few people share a screen so the room sees what this looks like in a different seat.
The part most workshops skip. We write the limits out loud, onto the thing you just built, then decide where it lives and what it is allowed to see.
Thirty minutes that belong to you. Bring what you are stuck on, or the use case you are not sure is a good fit.
