The Influential PM: Strategy, Stakeholders, Outcomes

Why I enrolled

I've got strong values, here’s what I want to get out of this course:

Learn how to push back on stakeholder asks that conflict with my principles (e.g. features that amplify bias) in a way that’s persuasive, not confrontational.

Build a vision and strategy that centers equity, inclusion, and impact — not just growth or monetization.

Develop the language to argue business cases for initiatives that benefit underrepresented groups (e.g. accessibility, inclusive features) so they’re seen as core, not optional luxuries.

Use the capstone to build something that aligns with my mission (e.g. a product or roadmap slice for women or children or underserved communities) — something I'm proud to show off.

What I’ll apply

Well, as soon as I start a new job I will be starting from the begining with measuring the metrics that I want or am expected to affect and make sure that the teams I work with understand what our goals/vision are. If I can do a better job of tracking the metrics that matter I will be able to not only affect the change the business needs but also be able to give accolades to those that took that journey with me - win win for all!
