Compound Thinking with Claude Code

Build a thinking partnership with AI that gets better every session

The most important thing to keep up with is our own ideas. But humans don't have persistent energy and AI doesn't have persistent memory (yet). This course teaches you to bridge that gap with local markdown files, skills, and a curiosity-first thinking partnership with AI.

You'll work with Claude Code in Cursor, where your files, your AI, and your thinking live side by side in plain text you own. When your thinking lives in markdown files on your computer, you and your ideas aren't locked into any platform. Every session builds on the last and nothing gets lost. You can follow your curiosity instead of counting tokens.

By the end, you'll have your own system that gets better the more you use it. You'll build an archive of thinking texture. You'll create skills that surface their own friction and improve themselves. No lock-in, no more cold starts. Pick up any thread, any thought, any time. Intelligence meeting intelligence in markdown. If you can write a note, you can do this.

What you’ll learn

How to stay close to your thinking and build a system that compounds

  • Local markdown files on your computer, plug them into whichever AI you want

  • Your thinking is portable, own it forever and never migrate again

  • Codified workflows that surface their own friction and suggest improvements

  • Feel the difference as improvements compound (future-you will be stoked)

  • Capture conversations verbatim, nothing compressed, findable months later

  • End sessions with handoffs so next-you arrives with momentum

  • Curiosity and conversation produce better thinking than setting and forgetting

  • Pressure-test decisions through multiple lenses to catch what you might miss

  • Learn what to use when you want AI, when you want your files, or both

  • No traditional coding required, the barrier to entry is curiosity

Who this course is for

  • You use AI daily but you start over every session, your best ideas disappear into chat threads, and you keep re-explaining yourself.

  • Your thoughts aren't linear. You think in tangents, side quests, and brain dumps and want a system that keeps you close to all of it.

  • You want a thinking partner. AI that pushes back, follows curiosity, builds on what you've thought together and amplifies your ideas.
