Raw-Clauding: Build a Thinking Partnership with AI

Laura Esquibel Ackerman

producer/non-technical raw-clauder

Build a thinking partnership with AI that gets better every session.

How we show up shapes what shows up. The most important thing for all of us to keep up with is our own thinking, especially when we're thinking with AI. But it's exhausting keeping up with all our sh*t and helping AI keep up with it too; humans don't have persistent energy and AI doesn't have persistent memory.

raw-clauding = files + partnership (intelligence meeting intelligence in markdown)

You'll collaborate with AI as a thinking partner and build an archive of your own thinking texture (not compressed summaries). Everything lives in plain text you own and can edit directly so you stay close to your thinking as it compounds; pick up any thread, any thought, any time. You'll think deeper together, your AI will find connections you don't see, and you won't have to hold it all in your head anymore. The context is yours forever. The system and the way you show up carry it.

What you’ll learn

How to think *with* AI and build a system where each session compounds.

  • Practice 50/50 partnership: from "give me an answer" to "let's figure this out together"

  • Pressure-test decisions through multiple lenses to catch what either of you might miss

  • Push back (and forth) to let ideas find shapes you wouldn't reach working alone

  • Codify your own knowledge and flows into custom skills you can read, edit, and share

  • Skills can pull you closer to your thinking or further from it; understand why you want both, and when to use which

  • Build a local markdown system you can plug into whichever AI you want to think with

  • Learn how where you put things shapes how you and AI think together

  • Capture sessions verbatim: both voices, full texture, nothing compressed

  • End sessions with dedicated handoffs so you and AI can jump right back in

Who this course is for

  • Tired of tool mode. You want AI that pushes back, builds on your ideas, amplifies your thinking, and can pick up wherever you left off.

  • Brains that can't stop. You think in non-linear tangents, side quests, and brain dumps and want AI to help connect all of it.

  • Ideas > titles. You define yourself by what you think about and want AI that meets you in your thinking instead of outsourcing it.

Prerequisites

  • Recommended tools/subscriptions

Claude Pro ($20/mo), Cursor ($20/mo or free), Obsidian (free)

  • This course is NOT for everyone

Those who just want AI to do things for them (tool mode) might not enjoy the 50/50 collaboration modeled in this course

  • Daily AI users and curious/motivated dabblers will do best

All will benefit from architecture + methodology but beginners won't have practical support (reach out if that's what you're looking for)
