Simon works on problems that sit between teams rather than inside them: how teams are structured, how decisions travel between them, how stakeholders stay aligned, and how disagreement is handled. These problems have become more visible as AI increases what a single team can produce. Most of his work is one-to-one coaching of leaders over several months, together with workshops, training and organisational reviews. Before working independently, he led engineering organisations and worked as an interim CTO. His clients include Siemens, Volkswagen, SAP, Bayer, BD Rowa, the European Central Bank, Bundesdruckerei and SumUp.
