Design Agentic Seller Experiences for Your Platform

Aditya Vithaldas

Product Leader, Ex Zalando, Flipkart.

Turn seller goals into agent workflows that keep sellers in control

Sellers come to your platform to build a business. Cataloguing, optimisation and operational coordination should help them reach that goal.

In this hands-on workshop, apply a four-level autonomy framework to a real seller journey. Map seller cohorts and jobs to be done, choose a workflow suited to agents, and design the experience from a business goal through execution, progress updates and approvals.

Work through sales, profitability, returns and ratings as connected goals. Decide which pricing, policy and inventory decisions need seller approval, and how the agent should explain its actions and recover when things go wrong.

Leave with a seller persona, workflow blueprint, interaction storyboard, approval matrix and a measurable pilot plan for your platform. Bring your own marketplace challenge or use the provided seller scenario. These are emerging design hypotheses to test, with the reasoning and trade-offs made explicit.
