Senior UX Writer (Etsy, Thrivent) inspiring other women to pivot into UX writing

I started out as a newspaper journalist. Nearly 14 years and a few pivots later… I entered the world of tech by leveraging the skills and experience I gained across fundraising, marketing, and e-commerce.

My first UX writing role was a one-year contract at Etsy. Three months into the contract, I was promoted to a full-time Senior UX Copywriter role and went on to lead key UX content initiatives across the buyer experience for over 2.5 years.

Today, I’m the first full-time UX content hire on the digital advisor experience team at a Fortune 500 financial services company, playing a key role in leading and establishing UX content foundations.

I created this course to offer the support I wish I’d had when I made the pivot. You’ll stop questioning your readiness. You’ll start recognizing the strengths you bring and feel empowered to turn the page to your best chapter yet!
