Why this topic matters

Designers and product managers make product decisions constantly. We all want those decisions to be informed by data. But which data? Making product and design decisions without good user research is just guessing, and making the wrong guess can cause expensive errors. Combining the right qualitative and quantitative research methods will get you the right info to make the right decisions.
