What you'll learn

Meet LangChain 1.0

Built to "ship quickly wiht standard agent patterns" and "agents that fit the default loop."

Meet LangGraph 1.0

For agentic systems somewhere between workflows and agents, deep or long-running agents, and complex implementations.

Understand the entire Lang-X Ecosystem

"The Platform for Agent Engineering" includes new nomenclature and abstractions from LangChain to LangGraph & LangSmith.

Why this topic matters

LangChain and LangGraph 1.0 dropped on October 22, 2025. As we saw with Cursor 2.0, the tooling has been updated to focus on agents, in this case the "core agent loop." As we've been teaching LangChain since October, 2023, we'll break down the history from early days through v0.1 to v1.0 today in the LangX ecosystem, and tell you what you most need to know heading into 2026 as an AI developer.

You'll learn from

"Dr. Greg" Loughnane, Ph.D.
