Amazing course that covers everything on AI Engineering -- from fundamentals to advanced topics. The course approaches AI Engineering through theory & practical with weekly tiered-assignments (tier as in there is a basic homework & optional "advanced" homework if you want to stretch yourself). Additionally, the whole course is set up really well logistically, with multiple office hours covering different timeslots in the week so students can be assured there's an office hours session they can drop by for help. The 2 Zoom sessions a week cover some pre-content, the actual content & then walks us through the weekly assignments. I appreciate the team also setting up the Zoom sessions in a way that encourages active discussion, both within your own breakout rooms & with external speakers they invited. I felt this was a really insightful setup as it encourages students to think critically & engage with other students & the content, as well as gain insights from folks in the industry & are practicing AI Engineering daily. Overall amazing course & can't thank Greg, Raul, Jan, Raphael & the team at AI Makerspace enough. It shows they've put a lot of effort into the programme. Thanks again guys, I had a blast these past 10 weeks.

I came in as a mobile tech lead with no production AI engineering experience. I finished with a live product in front of real users. The curriculum is dense and it moves. RAG, agents, evaluation, fine-tuning, MCP, production patterns. What made it stick was the weekly build requirement. You cannot pass by watching. The most valuable habit I picked up was reading traces instead of trusting scores. In my final session, 6 of 13 apparent failures were correct answers flagged wrong by a bad proxy metric. That lesson alone changed how I ship. Dr. Greg teaches from real production experience, not slides. Worth the 10 weeks.

A practical, hands-on AI engineering course covering agents, RAG, evals, guardrails, and deployment. It was well adapted for remote international students through recordings, office hours, and an active community. I finished with a real deployed product and would highly recommend the program.

Hands-down one of the best investments I've made in my career. AI Makerspace doesn't just teach concepts — you leave having actually built and shipped real, production-grade agentic systems. If you're on the fence, just join; the instructors, the pace, and the hands-on structure make it worth every session.

This course has helped me to expand my knowledge on how AI and machine learning systems work. Learned how generative AI and large language models can support writing, analysis, research, and automation. Practiced writing clear, specific prompts to improve AI-generated outputs. Recognized the importance of evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, bias, privacy, and reliability. Identified practical opportunities to use AI responsibly in everyday work and decision-making. Thank you AI Makerspace for facilitating this thoughtful course.
