Why this topic matters

Leadership requires range you may not realize you need. Without understanding four distinct modes—leading, directing, managing, coaching—you can't see what's missing. This creates problems: unclear direction, stalled work, undeveloped people. This session gives you a framework for leadership's full scope and reveals your patterns, so you know where to focus your growth.

Andrea Mignolo

Executive coach, MBA, PCC. Two decades leading teams and developing leaders.

When I started leading, I had no framework for what leadership actually was. I watched people around me but couldn't organize what I was seeing. Was someone's approach their personality or an actual leadership function? For example, I didn't realize directing was distinct from sharing vision or developing people. Everything blurred together.

I created this workshop to give leaders what I didn't have: a clear framework for the different types of work leadership requires. It helps you see what you're doing, recognize what's missing, and understand your role's full scope.

I hold an MBA from Weatherhead School of Management and am a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. I've worked with hundreds of leaders since 2021 and led teams for over a decade.
