I started out as a newspaper journalist. Nearly 14 years and a few pivots later… I entered the world of tech by leveraging the skills and experience I gained across fundraising, marketing, and e-commerce.

I pivoted into UX Writing with a role at Etsy, Inc. where I grew from a contract UX writer into a Senior UX Copywriter, leading UX content support and strategy for user-facing experiences for millions of buyers.

My UX writing experience also includes being a founding member of the digital advisor experience team at a Fortune 500 financial services company, where I led and established UX content foundations.

Serving on hiring panels has also given me fresh insight into how to be the solution your future employer is looking for to solve their problems.

I created this course to offer the support I wish I’d had when I made the pivot. You’ll stop questioning your readiness and recognize your strengths.
