Hi — I’m Jamey. I’ve been a designer since I was 15 and now work with early-stage companies shaping brands and creative direction.

Over the last few years, generative AI became part of that work. I went from curiosity to delivering full brands and campaigns built entirely with AI-generated assets that actually held up in the real world.

My mission is to change how creatives use AI— to treat it as an extension of the instincts they already have: direction, judgment, and iteration, instead of guesswork and panic.

The course strikes a balance between theory and practice. What I find most interesting is the approach to the generative aspect of image creation, which focuses more on reference material than on writing prompts – although the latter is still necessary to achieve the desired result.

To me, this course epitomizes the saying. "Learn to fish, and one eats for a lifetime". Jamey teaches a systematized approach to creating AI imagery that matches the creative idea in your mind's eye. It has made me more aware of what I am telling the AI to do, not just expecting it to figure it out.

Learn to Control AI like a Creative Director

The course taught me tangible methods for building what I envision (though still not 100%, due to the limitations of LLMs and the non-deterministic nature of AI), but at least now I know where and how to start. Jamey provided a wealth of materials that are genuinely useful and worth revisiting again and again. To get the most out of the course, dive deep into the homework and ask questions during the live sessions.

This course has shown me how to use AI as a system and has given clear tools for how to control the process. I didn't have a lot of experience with AI before this course and in this short time I honestly feel confident that I can produce any project I need at a professional level. Wonderful, very useful and very well-structured course.

Learn to Control AI like a Creative Director

I really enjoyed this course from start to finish. Coming in with no AI background, I learned so much more than I expected and gained a completely new perspective on how these tools can be used creatively. One of my favorite parts was seeing everyone else's work. The quality of the projects was outstanding, and I found them genuinely inspiring. It was amazing to see how each person interpreted the same brief in a completely different way.
