Why this topic matters

As product managers we know that there's failures—and then there's failures we could have anticipated. Unfortunately, the hairiest product risks are not contained in our heads. Great PMs develop private checklists, facilitation techniques, & the cultural vocabulary to bring risks to the surface—with leadership and stakeholders rooting for their success.

Hey 👋 I'm Tal. I've been a hands-on product manager & technical founder for 15+ years at hypergrowth companies, always among the first PMs. Most recently, I joined as first PM at Riverside.fm, leading an AI product used by Mark Zuckerberg, Michelle Obama, and Bill Gates.

Over the years I've been tasked to lead hairy projects ranging from modifying search engine algorithms, to massive rebrands, to red-button infrastructure changes, new developer APIs, trust and safety changes, fraud risks, pricing changes, and UX redesigns across the entire customer base.

During this time I started building a private checklist of risks and methods of validating them (it ballooned into a database). I also evolved techniques of activating my entire team + leadership + stakeholders to join me in spotting issues before they happen.

In this workshop I'll be sharing those checklists & scripts for free, because this is relevant to anybody working in any kind of product role.
