You've been wanting to bring change into your life and work, and you're ambitious, so you might be thinking of a new job, starting a side-hustle, community, consulting business, moving to a new city or country, even dating.
But even though you've thought about it (a lot), you haven't made meaningful progress.
You have an idea, or ten, or twenty, but with each one you find a problem.
It won't work.It won't pay what you need it to.It will take too much time away from your family. There's too much of a runway required and too few resources. You tried something similar before and it was a disaster.
You convince yourself it's a bad idea and settle back down into your current life. You've been restless for months, or years.
If only you had someone to assure you that you'll be successful in the path ahead of you, you'd take it. It's not that you haven't tried to research things out. You did.
But, here's what is missing from that: You're not working with actual data, you're forming predictions of failure. Advisors, mentors or family members and even AI might even be confirming your worst fears. What you're really working with is the fear of the unknown.
For very logical, analytical people, we tend to try to avoid failure at all costs by predicting all the ways something could go wrong.
We try to know what we don't know yet by asking mentors, advisors or even AI. This doesn't work because their insights don't perfectly apply to your life.
Your life is unique with many variables and others can only offer generic solutions about what worked for them.
You can see this when you get off a call with a mentor and part of you feels capable, confident and excited and the other half is a bit unsure– of your value and if it's all going to work out and if your other commitments will take a hit.
The big changes we want to make in life only happen when we deeply understand and change our internal thought-structures first, and learn how to use our feelings as a compass to take steps even when we can't predict the outcome.
The 30-day Experiment is a container for all that.
Then progress becomes exponential, and instead of taking incremental steps, you start making leaps.
