What is an Inclusion Gap Analysis?

It's a comprehensive process that involves:

• Scoping for Inclusion: to evaluate equity across multi-sector operations, for example in public health provision, engineering, and transportation. For the UK this is often link to the Equality Act Public Sector Duty which is anticipatory.

• Methodology: current internal policies, workforce data, and operational practices are benchmarked against legislative frameworks and industry best practices.

• Functional Assessment: systemic inclusion gaps are evaluated across key business functions, including HR, Health & Safety, Customer Experience, and Learning & Development.

• Stakeholder Engagement: diverse viewpoints are captured through targeted employee and customer surveys, focus groups, and leadership interviews.

• Key Findings: Critical friction points in the employee lifecycle, communication barriers in marketing, and accessibility gaps in service delivery are defined and recommendations made

• Actionable Roadmaps: Targeted risk-mitigated action plans are drafted with a view to close identified gaps and embed equity into core organizational design.
