Strong networks aren’t built by collecting more contacts. They’re built by staying in touch with the people you already know. This template helps you do that, one planned message at a time.
Set up in five minutes
Duplicate the template, clear the sample rows, add your contacts, give each one a planned date, and mark your Target 15. Then follow the routine.
What it does for you
Shows you who to contact and when. Every contact gets a planned outreach date. Spread them out, a few a day, and no single day feels heavy.
Tells you when it’s time. A built-in column checks your last contact date and tells you what to do: nothing yet, time to reach out, or follow up. You stop relying on memory.
Keeps your focus on the people who matter most. Mark your Target 15, the 15 people you most want to invest in right now, and see them in one place. Change the list whenever your priorities change.
Handles the people who don’t reply. Mark someone as Awaiting reply and the template prompts one polite follow-up after three weeks. If they still don’t answer, mark No response and set a new date about 90 days out. Nobody falls through the cracks, and nobody gets pestered.
What’s inside
A ready-to-use contact table with name, position, company, relationship status, priority, last contact date, planned outreach date, notes, and a LinkedIn link. Dropdowns keep your data clean. The Notion version includes Target 15 and Awaiting reply views. The Excel version has the same columns, filters, and a live formula, so it works for people who don’t use Notion.
