Prior to teaching, Jess was the VP at an AI Robotics company, leading a team that built the voice and personality of Moxie, a social robot.

Before her adventure in tech, she won two Emmys for her work as a journalist for ABC News. Her work has been featured in Forbes and Time. Jess was named one of the nation’s Top Keynote Speakers by Real Leaders for 2026.
