James Gray will accelerate your AI transformation

I came into James’s course already using AI every day. I had built skills and agents in Codex and Claude and generally knew my way around the tools. I also had files everywhere, useful work was scattered across platforms, and every time I learned something new, I added another piece without quite knowing where it belonged. In the first session, I created a registry of my workflows and gave it a mind map I had already built about how I work. The opportunity analysis that came back was grounded in my actual work, which made it immediately useful. The plugins James built were one of the most valuable parts of the course for me. We didn’t just learn the framework and then try to remember how to apply it later. The plugins walked us through each step using whichever AI tool we preferred. I’m still returning to them now that the course is over. The Deconstruct plugin was my favorite. I had been asking, “How can I get AI to do more of this?” Deconstructing a workflow made me slow down and look at what the work actually required. Where did the context live? Which decisions depended on judgment? What was repeatable? What wasn’t ready to automate? That process showed me that I didn’t always need AI to build something immediately. Sometimes I needed to understand the work better first. The 1:1s were also a big part of the experience. I could bring James something unfinished or messy, explain what I was trying to do, and get advice based on my actual setup. I took the course alongside a full workload, but most of the homework could be folded into things I already needed to do. I wasn't creating practice projects just to complete an assignment. I was using the course to think through real work and improve how I approached it. I came in with experience, but I could also see how the structure would help someone earlier in the process. It gives beginners a place to start without assuming they already understand how all the pieces fit together. For me, it helped organize what I had already built (skills, agents, workflows) and made the gaps much easier to see. I left the course with a clearer way to think about my AI set-up, practical tools I’ll keep using, and a stronger foundation for building workflows, agents, and skills.

I just finished Hands-On Agentic AI for Leaders with James Gray, and it changed how I work with AI. I came in using it as a smart chat tool. I’m leaving with a repeatable framework for building real workflows and agents, plus a system for keeping them organized so they don’t turn into a pile of one-off prompts.
