A long YouTube video is not one job. Before you record, you need a topic people already want, a title and thumbnail idea, and a script in your own voice. After you record, you need the pauses and retakes cut, names fixed, chapters, designed frames, music, loudness, a title, a thumbnail and Shorts. That is why one video eats a whole day, or a whole week.
I edit every video on my channel with a pipeline built in Claude Code. My last long-form take ran 38 minutes raw and came out as a 17-minute video, with 107 long pauses and 15 mistakes cut, in about 4.5 hours of machine time. Before this, one edit took me about a full day. It took me days to work out how each stage should run.
This cohort is four weeks of building that pipeline with me, on your own video. Each week I build one stage live on my own recording, you build it on yours before the next session, and the weekly clinic fixes what broke. By the end you have shipped one long-form video of your own, and the pipeline is yours to run on every video after it.
What you’ll learn
Go from a day or a week per video to a pipeline that plans, cuts, designs and ships it with you.
Find outlier videos in your niche, ones that beat their own channel's usual views, and learn why they won.
Research titles and thumbnails before you record, so the video is made for a packaging that can win the click.
Turn your research into a script that sounds like you speaking, not like a blog post read out loud.
Record from a slide deck built from the script, and say retake after a fumble so the edit finds it.
Transcribe every word with its time, cut long pauses but keep a breath, and remove retakes and false starts.
Fix names before captions and chapters, and answer pacing questions with yes or no that become rules.
Plan a storyboard: when your face shows, when a designed frame takes over, and how long your face stays alone.
Render frames, captions and zoom jump cuts with HyperFrames in your colours, and lay music under your voice.
Write titles and chapters, set up thumbnail tests, upload, then read back what YouTube shows.
Cut Shorts from the long video that make sense to a stranger who never saw it.
Keep a record of what you cut, what you kept and how each video did, so the next one starts smarter.

Claude Pro or Max, and a few hours a week
Claude Pro ($20 a month) is the minimum. Plan 3 to 5 hours a week on your own video between sessions.
