What you'll need: hardware and setup
This is a building program, so your machine matters.
Please have the following ready before week 1. Your laptop
A personal laptop, not a work-provided one. Strictly. Corporate laptops carry security policies and firewalls that block the tools we use, and no IT department unblocks them on a weekend.
Windows or Mac, with 16 GB of memory minimum, 32 GB preferred. At least 100 GB of free hard drive space.
Full administrator rights: you must be able to install software and create accounts freely.
Your connection Reliable high-speed internet for every session. You build on a live cloud environment, so a dropped connection is lost build time.
Your presence A working webcam and microphone. Every session requires every student on video, Saturdays and Sundays. This cohort builds together, and cameras stay on.
