I came into this course as cohort 17, not new to AI but with a lot of gaps from learning things in an unstructured way. Maaike fills those gaps without ever making you feel behind. What makes this course worth it is honestly Maaike herself. She has a rare ability to simplify without dumbing down, and she genuinely cares that you understand, not just that you finish. The foundations she builds feel obvious in hindsight, which is always the sign of a great teacher. This course is not a deep dive, but it is a strong launchpad. It was an absolute pleasure to have been part of this cohort. Maaike is an absolutely excellent trainer. She is a fountain of knowledge and an expert in her field. There was a good amount of content which provided both theory and practical hands on knowledge into the world of Generative AI, system & chain prompting, workflow breakdowns for building RAG agents etc. . That alone was enough to get me started. As a cherry on top, I've been inspired by my cohort. They've sparked new motivation and ideas to apply to my own work. I've had ideas that I thought were maybe out of reach but I learned that some folks have already got started to work on them! That's exciting. I will take some time to absorb all my learnings and then will look forward to going back over the material for anything I missed.
