I’m Chris, and for 16 years I’ve been paid to get strangers to tell me things they shouldn’t. As CEO of Social-Engineer LLC, my team and I test how organizations hold up against the human side of attacks.

I’ve written five books on social engineering and elicitation, studied more than 33,000 real vishing calls, and taught these skills to SOCOM, the US military, the Pentagon, MI5, and MI6. I also founded the Innocent Lives Foundation, which uses these same skills to help stop child predators.

What I’ve learned is simple: people want to talk. Most of us just get in our own way by asking the wrong way. I teach the skills that change that, in plain language, with practice you can use the next day.
