Catt Small will help you become a hands-on design leader

I highly recommend this course for designers in the staff role or for designers, like myself, who are thinking intentionally about growth beyond the senior level. Catt created such an open and approachable environment where we could learn about staff-level leadership, influence, and impact while also bringing real situations from our own work and experiences into the conversation. I especially valued the weekly overview and jam sessions and the opportunity to learn directly from someone with so much experience in the industry. I came into the course wanting to better understand what it means to grow into a Staff Designer, and I left with a much broader perspective on leadership, owning my value, and how I can start practicing those skills now rather than waiting or a future title. I am incredibly grateful for the experience and the opportunity to learn from Catt!

This workshop was super helpful in showing me how to better assess where I'm investing time and energy in different working relationships and directly see how that maps to having more influence. Catt did an amazing job making the discussions feel safe so that we could have productive, candid conversations and learn from each other. Catt's class was incredibly insightful and valuable. Throughout each session, she covered a wide variety of topics in detail alongside resources to dive deeper and actions you could immediately take. She was generous with her time in live jam sessions. As a content designer, I wasn't sure if this would be too product design focused, but I found every topic relevant to my own experience.
