Carmelo Iaria will make your Agentic AI execution effective

I help teams move from AI pilots to governed, production-grade agentic systems — through live programs and hands-on advisory.

Three decades across Europe, the US, and Brazil taught me one lesson: AI value is won in execution — clear scope, reliable multi-agent workflows, and governance that survives production.

I teach that discipline on Maven (Become an Agentic Architect, live workshops, Lightning Lessons, resources) through my AI-Assisted Multi Agent Development (AAMAD) Framework. I also work as a Fractional Chief AI Officer with teams that need embedded judgment, not generic advice — plus O’Reilly live sessions and Pearson certification-aligned programs.

Good course to learn how to design scalable, production-grade multi-agent systems, instead of just writing basic prompt scripts.

This is a true hands-on course where you would be expected to spend time on your own to progress. Carmelo provides a lot of helpful materials at each phase of the course, but you would need to commit your time and effort seriously if you really want to learn something. You also get to meet fellow students from various backgrounds and it was helpful to see their work along the way.

This is a very useful and present course, specially now that LLM capabilities are improving every week, as AI engineers we have to learn how to work agentically, to keep up with the trends

I have to say that this has been a wonderful journey. Many years ago, I developed safety-critical software using the waterfall approach and every possible engineering safeguard. On average, we produced around 8–10 lines of production code per day—including requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing, and documentation. A year ago, I started experimenting with vibe coding. It felt like stepping into a completely different world—a genuine paradigm shift that challenged everything I had learned about software engineering. Then AAMAD came to the rescue. AAMAD allows me to take full advantage of today's AI-assisted development tools while providing the process, structure, and engineering discipline needed to stay in control. It gives you visibility over the development process, the architecture, and the final product. Once you understand the underlying software engineering principles, AI stops feeling like a black box and becomes a powerful engineering tool. The definition of the AAMAD agents is particularly well thought out, enabling extremely rapid development without sacrificing structure or quality. The structure and pace of the course are equally impressive. Each phase builds naturally on the previous one, and you are encouraged to pause at key milestones to validate your work before moving forward. Along the way, you gain practical experience with concepts that have become essential for modern software engineering, including CI/CD, cloud deployment, observability, performance optimization, and token and cost management. This is not a course made of slides, nor one designed simply to tick a training box. It is a course to learn by building, to practice on a meaningful real-world project, and to grow as a software engineer. Looking back, the time, effort, and resources invested have been more than worthwhile. My sincere thanks and congratulations go to Carmelo Iaria for continuously keeping the learning materials current and relevant, for his daily engagement with the students, and for the encouragement, flexibility, and support he provided during the many occasions when I was unable to attend the live sessions. I also greatly appreciate the remarkable amount of additional material he shares with us beyond what was already a comprehensive course.
