Hamza Farooq will transform you into an AI Product Developer

Hi, I’m Hamza. I’m a founder by day and a professor by night, working at the intersection of Agents and Product Design.

I started Traversaal.ai with a simple goal: to build scalable AI products for startups and enterprises that integrate smoothly into existing systems while staying flexible and cost efficient.

We’ve had the opportunity to work with Fortune 100 companies, and the lessons from those experiences are woven directly into this course.

This course brings together everything I’ve learned in practice, along with the material I teach across universities.

I still spend a lot of time writing code, you can check out my GitHub.

I also share my thoughts and learnings on how organizations should think about moving demos to production grade scale on, The Production Gap: Substack.

Worked at:
Google
Walmart
Gallup
UCLA
University of Minnesota

As an engineer I really liked the practicality of every lesson and assignment. Each pushes you toward real system design thinking instead of shallow vibe coding, so you come out shipping production-grade systems instead of AI slop. Hamza's an amazing instructor, explaining technical concepts clearly, and his enthusiasm keeps you engaged all the time. I also really liked the deep dives and practical advice brought by each guest speaker. Overall, one of the best technical courses I've ever attended.

I joined already building AI features in production, so I wanted the part most courses skip, which is everything around the model rather than the model itself. This delivered on that. Most courses hand you material to consume, and you end up with a folder of recordings and links you never open again. This one is built so you actually learn, which is a different thing. The framing shift alone was worth it, you stop prompting and start writing specifications, and let the harness do the building. From there it goes into the production engineering that demos never show, the scaling and reliability layer that decides whether something survives real traffic. The guests were the surprise, engineers from Apple and Google each teaching the layer they actually run. Recommended if you already ship and want to architect rather than prototype.

The course content was amazing, and Hamza explained every topic in great detail. Honestly, this course cleared many of my concepts, especially around AI, RAG, message queues, and building a product from development to deployment. As a working professional, I was also struggling with how to find and close clients. One of the biggest takeaways for me was Session 4, where Hamza explained that you should first build a demo or solve the customer's problem before the first meeting. That mindset completely changed how I approach client acquisition. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to build real-world AI products, strengthen their engineering skills, and learn practical strategies for working with clients.

This was a THINK OUT OF THE BOX course for me. I've been working with Hamza for a long time, but this was my first time taking a technical course with him. I sharpened my skills as a developer by building end-to-end products and deploying them to production. That's what truly differentiates this course. Every assignment is based on experiential learning, giving you the confidence to go beyond what's expected. Hamza has this unique ability to push you beyond your limits. For me, that made all the difference.

Hamza takes mentorship to the next level with this course. He shows a lot of support to students who are starting out their own FDE career and projects. The focus on overall System Design and scaling is very important, as these are things that are not taught in other courses. The hands-on building of real-world projects that are in demand by real clients is priceless! Grateful to Hamza and team for building an amazing course like this!
