AI Prototyping Foundations for Designers

At Flatpay, we already use AI daily to boost research, strategy, writing, and design. Anna Arteeva's AI & UX workshop at our Copenhagen HQ helped us take things further. PMs, designers, and engineers sharpened our AI skills and explored new ground: getting more impact from the tools we already rely on; expanding into AI prototyping, building on our existing designs and design system to deliver higher-fidelity results faster; exploring new UX paradigms like non-deterministic and agentic experiences; and building a shared mindset on how AI will shape the way we create for our merchants. The AI Prototyping for Product Designers course is practical and valuable for anyone who wants to get started with “vibe coding” but isn’t sure where to begin. Each lecture starts with theory to build a solid foundation and then moves quickly into hands-on application in the chat-to-build platform Lovable. Other chat-to-build platforms are also covered, both in the materials and in discussions with other participants, but the course focuses on what Lovable is and how to use it effectively. Anna actively facilitates discussion, regularly checks what the group needs, and adapts parts of the course based on questions and feedback. For me, this course had real impact. It raised our approach within the Product Team to a new level: how we run discovery and how we build prototypes.

This class has been a game changer for me. It's brought me up to speed on things I didn't even know how to dive into, and has been a huge influence on my process. For the first time in several years, I'm excited about something new in the design process, and so many doors to experimentation, creativity and collaboration have been opened.

This course was genuinely inspiring. Seeing what tools like Lovable and Cursor can already do, especially from a designer’s perspective, really expanded how I think about building and prototyping. It definitely helps to have some technical understanding or even very basic experience with vibe coding, but it’s not a blocker at all. Even without that background, you can quickly get into an exploration mindset. What really makes this course stand out is Anna’s practical, actionable advice for designers. She bridges the gap between curiosity and real application, which makes the content immediately useful. I’d highly recommend it to any designer curious about working more closely with AI and modern tooling.
