AI builder, consultant, and educator
AI and software engineering leader

11 people enrolled last week.
This course is for anyone who wants to build, whether you already write software or have never written a line of code. You might want to create something for yourself, turn an idea into a product, improve how your team works, or explore what is now possible.
Over two weeks, you will set up an agentic software factory: a system where agents work continuously in the background to build software for you. You will learn to describe the outcome you want, provide the necessary context and constraints, and define how the result should be checked.
You will start by building a simple utility that you use through conversation. You will then extend the same approach to a working web application and learn how to publish or share what you have built. Along the way, you will create a practical way to see what your agents changed, what they did, and what they learned.
You will leave with a working application, a repeatable way to delegate and verify work, and your own personal software empire – without needing to write or review every line of code.

Build and run an agentic software factory that turns your ideas into working software—whether or not you currently write code.
Set up the agent system locally or in the cloud.
Understand the few parts of the setup you need to operate confidently.
Use the strongest model available to you without tying the workflow to one provider.
Describe the outcome, context, constraints, and definition of done.
Turn an idea or business need into a specification an agent can execute.
Delegate implementation without supervising every decision.
Start with a small conversational utility that performs a real task.
Build a personal web application around your own information or workflow.
Extend the approach to a tool for a team, workplace, or business.
Define what you need to see before you trust the result.
Inspect working artefacts and behaviour instead of reviewing every line of code.
Request reports showing what changed, what ran, and what the agent created.
Move from a personal tool to an application other people can use.
Understand the path from a prototype to a shared or hosted application.
Leave with a build process you can repeat for your next idea.

AI and Software Engineering Expert (Google, Microsoft, Canonical, Startups...)

People with ideas for useful software, including product managers, designers, operators, founders, business professionals, and developers.
Hobbyists, independent builders, and domain experts who want to create something useful for themselves, their community, or other people.
Software developers who want to delegate at a higher level, build prototypes faster, and stop supervising implementation line by line.
You do not need to write code, but you should be comfortable giving clear direction, reviewing results, and managing a team of agents.
Run your factory locally or in the cloud. We provide Hermes setup instructions and support for factories built with similar tools.
Access models through an API or subscription. Budget-friendly open models and the latest proprietary models are both suitable.

An agentic software factory can be shaped around an idea from your work or personal life. It could build things like:
A customer or team operations system – Manage contacts, projects, workflows, access, updates, and reports.
A research and publishing system – Collect sources, organise work, manage review, and publish reports, newsletters, or websites.
A software product or online service – Build accounts, data, workflows, integrations, reporting, and background agents.
A custom learning platform – Organise material, exercises, feedback, progress, and events for you or your team.
A family intranet – Keep shared calendars, documents, plans, projects, knowledge, and private tools.
A hobby or travel application – Plan trips, recipes, gardens, or collections; create games and challenges.
A private social network or virtual world – Create profiles, spaces, events, stories, and games for friends or a community.
These are starting points, not limits. Bring any practical, ambitious, playful, or slightly crazy idea. Build a useful first version, then add hosting, authentication, roles, integrations, activity history, and reporting as it grows.
