<h3>Why I enrolled</h3>
<p class="p2-tall">I am very new to forecasting, so my goals for now are to gain some intuition about </p><p class="p2-tall">(1) for which business problems is forecasting a good solution </p><p class="p2-tall">(2) what are common methods used for forecasting in practice</p><p class="p2-tall">(3) how do we think about data collection and model evaluation in forecasting</p>

    <h3>A breakthrough moment</h3><ul class="list-disc ml-8"><li><p class="p2-tall">Learning that in forecasting you should start with baselines as basic as just predicting the last value</p></li><li><p class="p2-tall">Learning that some problems are essentially not forecastable, so you cannot  forecast better than the naive forecast</p></li></ul>

<h3>What I’ll apply</h3>
<p class="p2-tall">I'd like to go more in depth on probabilistic forecasting and give that a try as opposed to point forecasting. </p>
