The Product Storytelling Cohort

Fractional Head of Storytelling

20 years turning complex products into compelling narratives.

Why I enrolled

I am Sabrena from Jamaica. For over 20 years I have been doing brand, product and creative storytelling. My goal for this course rests in refreshing and reinforcing my toolbox as a product/brand storyteller.

A breakthrough moment

My 'aha' moment was acknowledging that all the frames of storytelling and product storytelling (Donald Miller's "StoryBrand"- which I was already familiar with, Christopher Booker's "The Seven Basic Plots" and Joseph Campbell

s "Hero's Journey"); all make the customer the central focus/main character and not the product per se. It was a great reminder that a product or brand is only appealing if they serve the customer.

What I’ll apply

Application of the "science of storytelling" in my product and brand storytelling efforts.
