AI Red Teaming for Leaders: Break It Before It Breaks You

Why I enrolled

I enrolled because I sit in rooms where AI decisions get made: in the boardroom, with clients and with the women I mentor. In those rooms I don’t want to be the person who only asks what the technology can do. I want to be the one who understands what could go wrong and knows how to respond, because ignorance is no bliss. As a board member, I need to know the right questions to ask before an AI system ever reaches a customer. As an advisor, I want to help organisations test their AI properly instead of finding out from an unhappy customer. Red teaming gives me a practical way to do both without writing a line of code. It also fits the mission I’ve set for myself: to use AI to open doors while protecting trust, dignity, data and livelihoods.

What I’ll apply

What I’m most excited to put into practice is the 10-question readiness checklist. I want to bring its spirit into the boardroom by asking the questions red teaming answers.
