 <h3>A breakthrough moment</h3>Anthropic recently launched Skills, and it feels like a real "aha' moment in how we build with AI models. Instead of writing hundreds of one-off prompts for every individual use case, Skills let you package reusable, modular capabilities—structured patterns of behavior that the model can call on. Rather than prompting from scratch each time, you can define “out-of-the-box know-how” for a specific workflow or domain, and then apply it across applications in a much more repeatable way. The analogy that comes to mind is The Matrix: when Neo is instantly “uploaded” with dozens of fighting styles before facing Morpheus. He doesn’t become a perfect fighter through years of training—but he suddenly has access to a baseline capability that would have taken forever to build manually. So Neo's not transformed into a black belt instantly, but he's handed a playbook on:<ul class="list-disc ml-8"><li>the full choreography</li><li>the rules of the fight</li><li>access to weapons</li><li>the right moves at the right time</li></ul>
