Building Gen AI Agents for Enterprise: Beyond the Hype

<h3>Why I enrolled</h3>
1. Bring AI into my day-to-day – I want to learn practical ways to use Gen-AI to improve how I lead teams, make decisions, and support engineering — whether that’s elevating practices or helping unblock delivery. 2. Build something real with Gen-AI – I’m hoping to create a simple but working vertical agent, ideally in a space like engineering ops or an area of interest (like property). Something hands-on, so I can learn how to stitch pieces together—data, prompts, tools, and delivery. 3. Level up towards AI-savvy roles – I want to come out of this course with something tangible to show: projects, learnings, maybe even a portfolio piece. It’s part of a bigger shift I’m making toward roles that blend engineering leadership with AI capabilities. Challenge - I’ve got limited time, so my focus is on making each module count—small wins, fast feedback, and building momentum.


 <h3>A breakthrough moment</h3>It’s mostly about stitching and engineering and letting LLMs do their magic- that was an aha moment for me in demystifying agentic revolution 


<h3>What I’ll apply</h3>
The hands-on capstone really showed how to move beyond theory and build agents that interact with real data, APIs, and business logic. I’m particularly keen to embed agent workflows into my workplace and experiment with chaining tools, memory, and decision logic in ways that drive actual productivity or cost-saving outcomes. I am also looking forward to utilise n8n and what I learnt during the course to automate some of my day to day tasks with human-in-loop approach
