<h3>Why I enrolled</h3>
One of my primary goals in taking this course is to better understand how AI can be used strategically and responsibly to improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes. As a post-secondary instructor, I am interested in exploring practical ways to integrate AI into course design, assessment, and student engagement while supporting meaningful learning. I want to develop the skills needed to guide students through both the opportunities and challenges that AI presents. I also hope to better prepare students for a future where AI literacy will be increasingly important, while continuing to foster critical thinking, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, I hope this course will help me become a more informed and confident educator who can contribute to thoughtful conversations about AI and its role in education.


 <h3>A breakthrough moment</h3>I thought I already knew a lot about AI and how to use it, but these edu programs are blowing me away! Aha! I knew there was more out there. My goal now is to play around with them and see how I can apply them in post-secondary. I'm particularly intrigued by Curipod, as that instant feedback while anonymous tool would work really well, and the one where you can make the lesson relevant to different topics. (I'll have to go acbk and see what it was, Magic School maybe?) 


<h3>What I’ll apply</h3>
I look forward to trying out the PBL AJ shared last week with next year's students. I think it will grab their attention right from the get go and teach them how to use AI better, vs copy/pasting for assignments.
