Dr. Christie Vazquez makes you fluent in examiner-speak.

I'm Christie Vazquez, a Deputy CISO and VP in financial services, leading an InfoSec organization spanning security engineering, identity and access management, the functions examiners scrutinize most closely.

Before this, I was a federal prudential examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, assessing technology and operational risk at supervised institutions. That combination, building exams having written the findings myself is rare, and it shapes how I teach.

I'm also an Adjunct Professor of IT Audit and Cybersecurity at Temple University, and hold the CISSP and CISA credentials. I teach this the way I'd want a new director on my team to learn it, practical, direct, and grounded in what actually happens in an exam room.
