Visual Designer + Train Method Founder

Many creative, multi-passionate, and neurodivergent thinkers don’t struggle with ideas — they struggle with organizing them into clear, doable action. When everything lives in your head, projects feel overwhelming, progress stalls, and even the most exciting ideas can lose momentum.
From Idea to Action matters because it teaches you a practical system for turning scattered thoughts into visible steps you can actually move forward with. Using The Train Method, you’ll learn how to build your plans outside your head with a flexible, visual approach that adapts to real life — not rigid productivity rules.
Instead of forcing yourself into systems that don’t fit how your brain works, you’ll create a repeatable planning method that supports clarity, decision-making, and consistent momentum. By the end of the class, you won’t just understand your ideas better — you’ll know exactly what to do next, how to keep moving, and how to turn future ideas into action again and again.

Most systems focus on what to do next. The Train Method begins earlier, with how you process what is already in your mind.
When ideas, responsibilities and emotions all live in your head at once, it becomes difficult to think clearly, make decisions or move forward. The Train Method begins with Trainstorming, the step where you take everything you are holding mentally and place it outside your brain, one Post-it at a time, so you can see it, sort it, group it and understand it. That is where clarity begins.
Instead of forcing perfect order, the method supports zigzag thinking and gently organizes it into visible steps. Thoughts become movable pieces. Overwhelm becomes structure. Confusion becomes direction.
Planning then happens naturally because you are no longer guessing what to do. You can see what matters, see what comes next and move forward with confidence.
Many people discover that the Train Method does not just help them plan better. It helps them think, process and move through life with more clarity, calm and momentum.

Real Post-it’s
Ideal size: 1 ⅜
x 1 ⅞".
Do not buy fake Post-It's-- they curl and don't stick for long. It's horrible. Trust me.
Your Favorite Pen
Not just any pen. Your favorite pen that makes everything better.
Train Track
This is a wide strip of paper with a horizontal black line near the top. That line is your track keeping everything visually anchored. You'll download your Train Tracks at the beginning of the Class.
Moleskine Sketch Album
We'll be using a landscape-oriented blank Moleskine Sketchbook (5x8.25") to create a "Passport" within the course. An ideal Passport has blank pages and a wide landscape layout, with the binding on short edge.
Scissors
I like to trim my Post-It's shorter when using a mini Train Track. You'll also need scissors for the Passport Project.
Tape
We'll use tape when making the Passport.
