Syed Basit Improve AI Literacy for High Schoolers

Syed is the founder and CEO of Data Precedes, a data firm that builds and modernizes data foundations so organizations can run their BI and AI initiatives smoothly. He's also the founder of AIFluently, on a mission to remove barriers to AI fluency for students everywhere.

Syed is a Certified Chief Data and AI Officer from Carnegie Mellon University and holds an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, where he also serves on the Advisory Board for the Master of Management Analytics program.

With more than two decades of experience across multiple industries and geographies, Syed has held several senior leadership roles in data and analytics, including serving as Accenture’s Teradata Practice Lead for Canada.
